Fast Sale? Here are 8 tips to get your property sold quickly

Many times we find sellers don't know how to stage a home for sale. Months later, sometimes
years later, their home is still hasn't sold, and when they finally take the necessary steps to
prepare the home for sale, the optimum time my have gone by. Make sure you take these steps to
increase your chances for a quick and profitable sale.

Inspect Condition Carefully

1. Price the property marketable, based on the most recent comparable sales data. Putting it much over market value tells buyers you're not realistic about the value of your property.

2. Get the optimal exposure by using a proven marketing plan created by real estate professionals.

3. Paint the inside and out where needed, including the garage and outbuildings. Don't forget 
repairing and fixing where needed.

4. Keep the lawn in tip top shape. Trim back bushes and trees.

5. Clean gutters, and down spouts.

6. Clean all windows, including screens, storm windows, and doors.

7. Fix all broken items, including old facets, loose door knobs, squeaky hinges and cabinets.

8. Clear out the junk, including your closets! Three to six months of storage space will make a difference, instead of leaving it all for the buyers to see.
